VMWare Tanzu Observability Integration: A core feature of ISD is its ability to integrate with different CI/CD resources you have today. We have extended the list of supported monitoring tools by adding support to Tanzu Observability from VMware. Now you can use ISD to perform continuous verification on Metrics from Tanzu Observability to get real-time insights and mitigate risks during continuous delivery.
Role-based access control (RBAC):
RBAC allows certain users or groups to have specific permissions regarding which resources they have access to, what they can do with those resources, and who manages which resources.
Autopilot lets every user create resources and use them for themselves. However, the user can control who all has access to these resources through RBAC.
Administrators will have full access to all resources created in Autopilot. They in turn can control what areas of the application users have access to.
Administrators can create a "User Role" using which they can provide global access to one more type of Resource. For example, a user Role of "Auditor" will be able to view all the Audit events coming from Applications irrespective of the permissions specified by the application owner. Feature Visibility is used for scenarios where one or more user groups need exclusive access to a specific feature.

The verification gate does not retrieve a few fields from a ticket
Log account column does not validate when the CLOUDWATCH provider is selected in the log template

Jira integration can now be added from ISD to be used in the pipeline. Earlier it is used only in the ISD approval gate.

With SAML authentication, when the identity provider's idle timeout differs from that of the ISD, the ISD throws a timestamp error - The user is gracefully redirected to the login screen now.
Loading time performance issues with the App dashboard summary box are addressed.

Following are the issues fixed in this release:
“Judged by” column in Audit trail not displaying the latest stage details.
For pipelines having multiple deployment stages, Audit trail not displaying the first deployment stage details.
Ability to add Custom JSON payload to validate a policy in policy gate.
Implemented standard error codes and messages for all integration accounts
Improved the loading time for usage insights graphs
Ability to validate the host URL and credentials when configuring the following integrations and cloud accounts.

Metric template - service metric KPIs are missing for Prometheus.
Creating multiple templates with the same name in the application has been restricted.
Approval count is missing from the 'Gates Used' graph on the usage insights page.
Changes are made to store only the important audit events in Audit DB.
Issues with count mismatch and sorting orders are resolved for Delivery insights.
Issue with the active pipelines exceeding the total pipelines has been fixed for Usage insights.
Summary boxes count mismatch in the App Dashboard is fixed.
Improved summary box loading time on the App Dashboard page.
Approval count is missing from the 'Gates Used' graph on the usage insights page.
When a user configures any type of deployment in the Spinnaker Deployment stage other than "Deployment," the image id is now displayed.
