Features
VMWare Tanzu Observability Integration: A core feature of ISD is its ability to integrate with different CI/CD resources you have today. We have extended the list of supported monitoring tools by adding support to Tanzu Observability from VMware. Now you can use ISD to perform continuous verification on Metrics from Tanzu Observability to get real-time insights and mitigate risks during continuous delivery.
Role-based access control (RBAC):
RBAC allows certain users or groups to have specific permissions regarding which resources they have access to, what they can do with those resources, and who manages which resources.
Autopilot lets every user create resources and use them for themselves. However, the user can control who all has access to these resources through RBAC.
Administrators will have full access to all resources created in Autopilot. They in turn can control what areas of the application users have access to.
Administrators can create a "User Role" using which they can provide global access to one more type of Resource. For example, a user Role of "Auditor" will be able to view all the Audit events coming from Applications irrespective of the permissions specified by the application owner. Feature Visibility is used for scenarios where one or more user groups need exclusive access to a specific feature.

Error while executing a pipeline when the user deletes a pipeline with policy gate and recreate the pipeline with the same name with policy gate
Introduced ‘Cancelled’ status in Approval summary when a pipeline with Approval gate is aborted.

Fixed Issues
Approval connector details show “No Data Found” message for sometime after user approves the gate
Unable to trigger multiple approval gates simultaneously from Spinnaker
RBAC permissions are not considered for applications in the Verification summary page
User is unable to approve a gate even after having approval permission
The test verification page is unresponsive if the user doesn't have "view" permission
Unable to delete a service while analysis is in progress
Docker hub integrator doesn't have to connect to spinnaker option
Artifactory integrator updated with new fields Repo, Group ID, Repo type & Authentication type
Application-sync gives LDAP session expired error

Fixed Issues
An error occurred while loading the metric template for the New Relic monitoring tool
Exception while editing the existing metric template
Some metrics are missing from the metric analysis report
An error occurred while adding ElasticSearch monitoring tool for incorrect credentials with the specific validation message
Approval connector details are not displayed for the unassigned Jira ID
Super admin users should have R/W/E permissions to all the applications in ISD
Activated and Reviewed times are incorrectly displayed in Firefox and Safari browsers.
Unable to approve or reject an approval gate for a user who has Approval Group permissions
Admin should have Audit page visibility by default.

Enhancements
Spinnaker's custom stage can be created by adding ServiceNow integrator from ISD
Performance improvement:
Application Dashboard loading time is improved
Default timing configuration optimized for large deployments with a huge number of applications.
Fixed Issues
The verification gate does not retrieve a few fields from a ticket
Log account column does not validate when the CLOUDWATCH provider is selected in the log template

Additional authentication options are added for the integrations listed below.
Jira integration can now be added from ISD to be used in the pipeline. Earlier it is used only in the ISD approval gate.

Fixed Issues
With SAML authentication, when the identity provider's idle timeout differs from that of the ISD, the ISD throws a timestamp error - The user is gracefully redirected to the login screen now.
Loading time performance issues with the App dashboard summary box are addressed.

Fixed Issues
Following are the issues fixed in this release:
“Judged by” column in Audit trail not displaying the latest stage details.
For pipelines having multiple deployment stages, Audit trail not displaying the first deployment stage details.
Ability to add Custom JSON payload to validate a policy in policy gate.

Fixed Issues
Changes are made to store only the important audit events in Audit DB.
Issues with count mismatch and sorting orders are resolved for Delivery insights.
Issue with the active pipelines exceeding the total pipelines has been fixed for Usage insights.
Summary boxes count mismatch in the App Dashboard is fixed.
Improved summary box loading time on the App Dashboard page.
Approval count is missing from the 'Gates Used' graph on the usage insights page.
When a user configures any type of deployment in the Spinnaker Deployment stage other than "Deployment," the image id is now displayed.
