Create an Application

The following procedure creates a new Application. Once you are done, you can add components to the Application like pipelines and then deploy it.

1. Click "Continuous Delivery" --> Click "Spinnaker" --> Click "Create Application" tab as shown in the image below.

2. New Application window will appear to provide attributes as shown in the below image.

3. Update the above New Application dialog box with the application attributes as described below, then click Create.

Your application has been created successfully. After that, you must complete the configuration before adding infrastructure and pipelines.

Sync Applications with ISD

Before you can work with a spinnaker application in ISD you must first sync it to ISD. To work on applications which are originally created in Spinnaker, you need to import these applications from Spinnaker to ISD. To import the applications, Click "Setup" --> Click "Applications" --> Click "+Sync Spinnaker Applications" button, as shown in the below image.

When you click "+Sync Spinnaker Applications" button, ISD imports the most recent dump of all Spinnaker applications and their associated properties. So, whenever you make changes to Spinnaker applications, you must "manually" sync them with ISD using this button.
