# Monitoring Tools

The monitoring tools can be integrated in the ISD page to perform the log analysis or metric analysis of the given data. The added monitoring tools can be used in the verification stage of the Pipelines. They can be integrated in the Log template or Metric template.

The following table lists the monitoring tools used to calculate Log Analysis and Metric Analysis.

#### Accessing Monitoring tools for Log & Metric Analysis

1. Create a pipeline by following the steps provided in [Create Pipelines](https://docs.opsmx.com/user-guide/manage-pipelines/create-a-pipeline). 
2. To add a stage to the created pipeline, click **Add Stage**.
3. In the **Type** dropdown, select **Verification**.
4. Refer [Verification Gate](https://docs.opsmx.com/user-guide/manage-pipelines/add-intelligent-gates-to-the-pipeline/verification-gate) on how to add values for the given fields.
5. You need to add the **Log Template** and **Metric Template** to integrate the monitoring tools in this stage. Refer [Log Template](https://docs.opsmx.com/user-guide/continuous-verification/templates/log-template) to know how to add a log template and [Metric Template](https://docs.opsmx.com/user-guide/continuous-verification/templates/metric-template) on how to add a metric template.
