# Templates

Setting up Analysis can be done on Applications & their available integrations. [**Refer to this page**](https://docs.opsmx.com/user-guide/manage-application) to know how to add / edit applications and how to add / edit services. [**Refer to this page**](https://docs.opsmx.com/user-guide/data-sources) to know how to add an Integration.

The template is a blueprint of all the information needed to run the analysis. It contains information about applications/services, data sources, etc. There are two types of templates available:

1. [**Log Template**](https://docs.opsmx.com/user-guide/continuous-verification/templates/log-template)
2. [**Metric Template**](https://docs.opsmx.com/user-guide/continuous-verification/templates/metric-template)

Specific template types can be used for your analysis. If you have both logs and metrics data for your application, you can create both template types and use them for your analysis. Otherwise, create either of the template based on the type of data and analysis you are targeting.
