# Configure Artifact Support

## Overview of Artifacts <a href="#overview-of-artifacts" id="overview-of-artifacts"></a>

* All the remote, deployable resources in Spinnaker are Artifacts. It’s mandatory to have credentials downloaded or uploaded, depending on the “type” of artifacts being used.
* There are three types of Artifacts, available for Spinnaker
  1. GCS (Google Cloud Storage Artifacts)
  2. GitHub Artifacts Account
  3. HTTP Artifact Account
