Application Management

The application on-boarding feature allows you to create templates based on the organization practices and policies and provide self-service on-boarding of new applications. You can then easily add an application, its services, and deployment pipelines using the templates to that they follow the best practices.

To add an application follow the steps given below:

  1. Click Applications in the navigation menu as shown below:

2. The Application Dashboard screen appears as shown below:

In the above screen, click the Add Application button as shown below:

3. The application details form appears as shown below:

In the above screen you can do the following:

  • Enter the name of the application in the Application Name text box.

  • Enter the Email Id in the text box.

  • Click the Image Source drop-down to set the image source as docker.io/opsmx

  • Enter the Application Description in the text box.

  • Enter the Service Name in the text box.

  • Click the Select Service Pipeline drop-down to set the template of the service pipeline.

  • Enter the Docker Image Name in the text box.

  • To add one more service click the Add Another Service text.

  • Click the Add another Environment text. The following options appear as shown below:

  • Enter the Key in the text box.

  • Enter the Value in the text box.

  • Click the Add Group text. The following options appear as shown below:

  • Enter the name of the Group in the text box.

  • Click the Permissions drop-down to set the permission. The options are:

    • Read Only

    • Read & Write

    • Read, Write and Execute

  • Click Save & Finish to create the application.

Once the application is created, it will appear in the Application Dashboard as shown below:

If the new application is not appearing in the dashboard, click the Refresh icon beside Application Dashboard text.
